Gaining admission to renowned UK boarding schools, where generations of noble and influential families have received education, is no easy feat. Typically, students are required to submit their applications one year in advance.

For a handful of prestigious institutions like Brighton College and Concord College, the application process begins two or three years prior to enrollment. In the case of renowned schools such as Eton College, students must apply before the age of ten and a half to secure a place at the age of thirteen.

College application procedures

Application process for studying abroad in British secondary schools/universities:

STEP 1

Bring the original copies of your school scores or public examination scores in the past two years and come to our Hong Kong center for detailed consultation with a British study abroad consultant.

STEP 2

Choose a suitable UK study course and prepare to submit the application form and the following required documents: Original copies of school grades or public examination scores in the past two years Passport copy Original English test (IELTS/TOFEL) score report (only applicable to applicants for British further education courses at junior college or above) Personal Statement (only applicable to applying for university courses in the UK) Art portfolio (only applicable to applicants for art and design related disciplines) Work or personal resume (only applicable to some subjects, please consult our UK study agency for details)

STEP 3

University courses for studying in the UK will be applied for through the UCAS system*

STEP 4

If your grades meet the requirements of the institution, you will receive an admission letter from the British institution.

STEP 5

Accept admission and pay reservation fee

STEP 6

The institution issues relevant visa documents – Certificate of Acceptance of Studies (CAS)

STEP 7

Prepare documents and submit UK study visa application online

STEP 8

Arrange accommodation and book a ticket
